The HS XC Eagles competed at the Bloom Carroll Invitational on Saturday.  The men's team placed 8th out of 9 teams and the ladies' team placed 5th out of 6 teams.  Award winners were Megan Ladd (10th), Alexis Cline (30th) and Matthias Cooper (28th).  Personal records were set by:  Jon Hovance, Leke Bytyqi, Eros Embrey, Logan Overman, Arturo Schottenstein and Brianna Cline.  

The HS XC Eagles will race on their home course, next Saturday, September 21st in the Marion and Ruth Gray Invitational, here at MCS.  HS races begin at 8:45 a.m.

Middle School Cross Country had a strong showing in the Bloom Carroll Invitational.  The boys team raced to a 3^rd out of 7 teams place finish with Ryan Engler, Landon Overman, Luke Schenk, Hyatt Sprague, Allen Flickinger and Isaac Schenk medaling and finishing in the top 30. Kiley Wray (4^th)  and Elise Robinson (17^th) earned awards to lead the girls team to a 6th out of 7^th place finish.  Personal records were set by:  Engler,  Overman,  Luke Schenk, AJ Shimp,  Sprague, and Jeremiah Neal. Season best times were run by returning runners Wray,  Robinson and Abbey Wheaton-Lawler. 

The MS XC Eagles will run on their home course next Saturday, September 21st in the Marion and Ruth Gray Invitational, here at MCS.  MS races begin at 10:15 a.m.
